5.0 out of 5 stars This bed's the best
My mother-in-law bought this bed because we kept complaining about rolling to the middle of the hide-a-bed she had in the office/guest room. Setting it up took just a few minutes. Okay, I was really skeptical, but I can't tell you how nice it was to finally get a really good night sleep at her house. Other beds we have slept on deflated during the course of the night and...

2.0 out of 5 stars pillowtop aerobed
I bought this item last year almost a year to date, and like the other person who rated this item said the same thing I have to say. The valves started to leak and they replace them but then a few months later they leak again and now I am stuck with a queen top aerobed that deflates and won't stay blown up. Needless to say save your money and go to Target and get one of...

My mother-in-law bought this bed because we kept complaining about rolling to the middle of the hide-a-bed she had in the office/guest room. Setting it up took just a few minutes. Okay, I was really skeptical, but I can't tell you how nice it was to finally get a really good night sleep at her house. Other beds we have slept on deflated during the course of the night and we ended up stuck to the floor the next morning. This bed was nothing like that. It was comfortable. We could adjust it to make sure we were both comfortable once we both got on it. Deflating and putting it away was way too easy. Normally I would never take the time to write one of these things, but I am so impressed I just had to do it.

5.0 out of 5 stars surprisingly comfortable and compact, June 7, 2002
I intended this to be for guests, but one of my cats peed on my usual bed and it was either this or the couch. I slept like a baby. It inflated quickly, was comfortable and firm, deflated and folded to roughly the size of a gym bag. Another overlooked use is that, since it's so compact, you can bring it with you to friends' houses. No need to crash on the floor. ;)

I ordered the Queen sized pillowtop AeroBed and should have saved my money and bought a sleeping bag instead. We took this bed to my parents' house for vacation and one week into the visit, my infant son and I would wake up in the middle of the night on the floor after the air repeatedly leaked completely out. When I called AeroBed directly, they readily offered to replace the valve. Sounds like it's a recurring complaint from customers. The bed comes with a patch kit, but we were never able to find the source of the leak. But believe me.....it found us every night around 2 a.m.!

1.0 out of 5 stars not worth it, July 29, 2002

Buy a real bed. This product is excellent for the first year, but after one seam lets go, it's none stop leaks after that. I did use this bed as my daily sleeper, and it is comfortable, just not built for the long-run. My bed developed at least 10 separate leaks along the seams over a period of two months, just as I repaired one seam, another would split over night. Seemed as soon as the warranty was up the bed fell apart. Leaks along the flocked seams are especialy hard to seal, let alone finding them.

This is an awesome bed for guests or overnight trips. Blows up in seconds, deflates and puts away in a minute or two. So comfortable, doesn't deflate, and keeps a nice air pressure.

5.0 out of 5 stars Leaks? What leaks?, March 23, 2003

I've had my full-sized Aerobed for nearly 2 years now and it's still going strong. I sleep on it every night, and I'm a pretty big guy at 235 pounds. True, at this stage of the bed's life it is a little soft in the morning, but I'm not on the floor either.

If you want an occassional bed, I think this will be worth every penny. It's not meant for daily use as far as I can tell.

4.0 out of 5 stars fast inflation, comfortable, no leaks yet., May 5, 2003
By A Customer
body-heat produces some moisture on sleeping surface even with pillow-top model and matress pad I added. This may be a characteristic of all inflatables. I may try a higher-quality mattress pad, like an egg-shell thingie.

This is a minor complaint but it gets annoying.

When and if I solve this, the product will get my highest rating. Until then, 4-stars.

5.0 out of 5 stars Comfortable, reliable, good value, January 9, 2007
This review is from: AeroBed Pillowtop Inflatable Bed, Full (Kitchen)
Purchased on special from Amazon, based on other positive reviews. Used about a dozen times. Very comfortable. Inflates and deflates quickly. Minimal air loss. Unexpectedly heavy but quite manageable. Ordered standard, low-cost shipping but arrived in only 3 days. Good Value!
