5.0 out of 5 stars Love it!
I love being able to take things out of my Aerogardens and put them in the vases. I keep my herbs that way sometimes when I want to re-plant the Aerogardens before I'm totally done with the herbs that are in them. I haven't used the basket, but it's nice. It's a pretty neat concept overall and a purchase I'm not sorry I made.

1.0 out of 5 stars The light blub stop working within a week
For [...], you got 3 cheap vase, a cheap basket, 3 starter pots (some flower seed packaged with grow medium and nutrient tablets), a hydroponic "machine" and and a made-in-china-burn-out-within-a-week "grow" bulb. To be honest, I knew the vases and basket is not going to be any good, but the light bulb burnt out in a week? That simply not acceptable.

As for the Aerogarden, as another reviewer said, sure you can build your own system for less money. But it won't be as compact, attractive, or easy. I have four Aerogardens (3 different models,) and have purchased one as a gift - and have never had any trouble with any of them. Their customer service can be hard to reach online, but if you call the number they will handle anything like a quickly burned out bulb very quickly. Nothing about these systems is "cheap." My oldest one is going on two years old and still works like a champ.

I do recommend shopping for sales on them though. If you pay full price, you paid too much. ;)
