The bed blew up quickly and easily and the built-in pump makes it easy to make with regular sheets. Only problem is that the sides are slippery, so the sheet doesn't stay in place for a real long time.
Easy to deflate and put away, too. It practically folds itself back up.

I'm too old for this thing...,
This review is from: Aerobed Sleep Away Inflatable Bed (Kitchen)
We spent a week at a beach house which only had 4 beds -- the biggest of which was a full-sized. My husband and I haven't slept in a full-sized bed since we first started living together nearly 20 years ago. So we bought this thinking that it would provide adequate extra bedding -- my sister had one and she said it worked well.
It was worse than sleeping on the floor. It didn't have enough support and so my mid-section was actually on the floor while my head and feet were higher than normal -- not comfortable. And getting up off the floor -- after an entire night on this thing? Not pretty and not fun! I subsequently purchased Aerobed Sleep Away Elevated Queen Inflatable Bed for not much more money and boy -- what a difference. The Elevated bed was much more comfortable and you could get out of it without while preserving some measure of dignity. There was no sagging or bottoming out. I suppose if you are just purchasing this for kids or portability is much more of a concern for you, then this will work. However, if you want are an average middle-aged person, go with an elevated bed. The sleep and the back you save may be your own!

Great for a few weeks then the leaks started,

Well, what can I say except don't fall into my trap. Bought this bed in a full size to use in a part time apartment. It was great for about 10 uses, and then the leak started. The patch the company gives you is a joke, however after using rubber glue and various patches I got the leak stopped. Only to have three more pop up, it seems to me to be made of cheap plastic that breaks down and rips even when it is not being used. Bottom line, don't waste your money unless you're only going to use it for a week or so, for this airbed will leak and sink quicker then the titanic.

Aerobed Sleep Away Inflatable Bed,

Was shipped very promptly, and as described. The bed deflates though during the night, not completely, but I'd say about 20%. Not the fault of the seller, but the manufacturer.

So far we are very pleased with this mattress. We bought it as a replacement for a cheaper Coleman mattress that leaked from day one. This one blows up quickly and stays firm all night. We are happy we paid a little more for a product that actually works. For an aerobed amazon had the best price by far.

This review is from: Aerobed Sleep Away Twin Inflatable Bed (Kitchen)
I'm deployed in Afghanistan. The little twin beds we get are hard as a rock and mine had springs pushing up causing me to wake up sore. I bought this bed about a month ago and put it on top of my existing bed. After sleeping on it for almost a month now I'm feeling like I get a much better nights sleep. It seems very durable even though I toss and turn. It inflated in less than a min and was extremely easy to adjust. The first few nights I adjusted it a little bit here and there to get the presure just right and since then I haven't needed to inflate it any more. It doesn't seem to have any leaking issues or anything even though this is my daily use bed.
So far I'm very happy with this product, well worth the money.

This is not a sleep number bed, nor is this one of the top of the line Sleepy mattresses. It is an air mattress. And as far as air mattresses go its a pretty good one. If you sleep on it day in and day out, you will notice aches and pains. But if you use it as a guest mattress that can be folded away, or a temporary mattress that you are going to use on a pseudo-camping trip, then this mattress is excellent.
It inflates very easily. All you have to do is plug it into the power outlet, twist the knob and it starts inflating. To deflate it, just twist the knob in the other direction. It comes with a storage bag which fits well with some room to spare. The only thing that I don't like about this mattress is that it smells like plastic when new. It takes a while for this smell to go away. But overall ... I like it and I'd buy it again.

I've been using this bed for two weeks now. My wife has a bad back and can't stand when I'm turning & tossing around at night. I can't sleep on a couch so I bought this air mattress as a trial.
I was skeptical at first having never owned or slept on one. I am very pleased with it. The pump inflates quickly as advertised in about 2 min and deflating is just as easy. The firmness can be adjusted to the firmness you like. It's easy to roll up and store in the supplied storage bag. I've been setting the bed up at night & deflating in the am. Takes just minutes. It's just as comfortable as a mattress.

I bought this formy younger sis who is away at school to use in her dorm room for friends that stay over. It serves its purpose as a quick bed but it does deflate a bit during the night...and the pump is VERY loud.

1 Great Week,
This review is from: Aerobed Sleep Away Inflatable Bed (Kitchen)
This bed lasted a whole week before it ripped along one of the coils at the bottom. I have no idea what caused it. Its not laying on any sharp objects or anything, I havent even moved it since setting it up a week ago.I tried to use the repair patch that comes with the bed, as directed, but as soon as I put air in it, not only was air still seeping through the patch but the hole along the coil got bigger. As of right now, I am not happy with this product. I will give an update about the product once, I speak with aerobeds customer service, hopefully tomorrow but due to the holiday, probably wont be until Tuesday.
