I bought this tape thinking it would provide a workout that I could do in my home. However, I think that this tape would best be viewed by those teaching a fitness kickboxing class. There are some good combinations and technique is stressed. It doesn't provide a good calorie burning workout though. I intend to give this tape to my instructor so that she can incorporate the shown combos into our workouts.

I have attended a local gym that teaches kickboxing, this video answers questions about the proper methods of kicking and punching safely that the gym did not point out. The explanation of proper equipment and use was great and appreciated. The combinations were easy to understand and do, even as a beginner. The workout was great and the video did not go to fast for me to follow. I hope that there will be more in this series, Jim Butin does a great job leading the exercises.

I was very disappointed in this video. I have been taking kickboxing at our local fitness center so I already know the moves, but this video did not work me out at all. It was filmed in poor quality so it is hard to see and hear. The moves didn't seem to flow either. I wouldn't recommend this tape to anyone.
