Aerolatte’s innovative, registered design incorporates a whisking head and shaft made of food-grade, 18/8 stainless steel. This next generation frother requires no pumping, winding, or steam, and operates on two AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (included). It really makes good froth for your coffee.
I find it more consistent if I froth cold milk first, then nuke it for about 10 seconds. This way the froth stays "solid" instead of melting away (at least that's the way I like it).
I take it to work and whenever I travel, too. I've been using my extra sets of reachargeable batteries, cos the batteries that came with it only lasted me probably less than a month (I've been using this frother 3x a day since January).

This whip really does work great. I've worked in a couple coffee shops, and I'll tell you, it's almost (and I mean ALMOST, and that complimentarily) just as good, but the best way to get the foam cap is to heat the milk in a pan on the stove, then whip the whole bunch--the wide surface area will give you maximum foam. Block it with a spoon when you poor it into the espresso (of coffee), then spoon the foam onto the top. The travel case is also ideal for me, since I travel a lot.

There's no doubt that it's a great frother! It does what it's supposed to do; it froths any kind of milk darn good!
Sharing my 3-week-experience, lactose free milk worked the best. The foam stayed longer than other milk. The fresher the milk is, the more foam you get as well.
I would have loved it more if it did not have design and/or material problem.
It's made out of cheap plastic. The body can't get a hold of its own lid to battery. I wasn't comfortable using it because it's just about to pop out of the handle while frothing.
I tried to tighten the screws in, but it didn't do much.
Finally Amazon sent me a replacement, however it came with the same problem.
I am afraid I should return both of them and get a stainless steel version.

Annoyingly fragile
Accidentally bent it a little while washing it, and now it makes milk fly everywhere if you're not careful. It works well, but I won't be buying another one because of this.

Money Well Spent
I purchased one of these many months ago and like it very well. So I thought to go ahead and get a backup unit. The case is attractive and closes securely. Buy one already! :-)

Perfect
Does everything I need it too. Frappe's :) I use it frequently and it works wonders, but i just dropped it and the metal bent and I need to buy a new one :-/

Beverage goodness
This is a great product for making hot frothy drinks at home. Initially we had trouble getting it correct. The most critical part is determining the right temp to warm your milk. Read more

worked great for a while, but
it just stopped working. New batteries do not seem to help. I think it is a poor design error in terms of the battery contacts.

Works well breaks easily,
Works well, it does as described. But rusts if you don't wipe it CLEAN! i would not buy this again.

Weak.
Not a very powerful frother. I find it easier to froth milk by microwaving it for a minute or so and then rolling a straight wisk between my hands. Read more
