I bought this as an accessory to my 5 yr old son's halloween Jr. Astronaut costume. The backpack is great and has lots of compartments to store fun stuff including the Jr. Astronaut helmet and boots; however, it's way to big for a 5 year old. I would recommend this for much older kids.

I purchased this with the Aerospace suit (size 6-8), gloves (M), helmet, and shoe covers (M) for a small, six year old boy. The Aerospace suit fit perfectly over light clothing, but he would have needed a larger size suit had he not been quite thin. The gloves and shoe covers fit fine. The entire set looked amazing on him and very realistic. I rated the back pack highly educational because a child can creatively decide what should be placed inside. While my grandson did not know much about space (initially he thought he was dressed to clean up oil spills!), I plan to provide him with several books that will discuss life on the moon, in the space station, etc. You can't go wrong with this Aerospace space costume and pack.

Well made toy. My grandson has a great time playing with it. Gives him a place for his astronaut suit as well as his space shuttle and rockets.

We bought this to go with the astronaut suit our 3 year old daughter requested for Christmas. I almost didn't order it because the cost of the whole outfit (suit, boot covers, gloves, helmet, back pack) was a bit pricey but I am so glad that I did. The rest of the outfit fits up in the top and the helmet fits in the bottom. The helmet has to be squeezed in so I usually have to help her get it in and out but it is a great way to store this fun dress up toy.

This is not an easy backpack to use. Lots of complements on the looks but it is very thin and the zippers are cheap. My son has used it one day and the zippers already get stuck and one of the zipper pulls already came off. Also the 2 compartments are not easy to access under the velcro flap. Its oddly set up and not very conveinient. I can see this lasting about a month before it needs replaced.

Bought the jumpe suit and shoes for my 4 yr grandson. And he reminded me i forgot the backpack. The SPACE Man is compelte. Next week we are going back to NASA, also had to get a to the moon book!

My 5-yr-old dressed as an astronaut for 2nd year in a row for Halloween. We added this accessory this year, he just loves it, very handy to carry his helmet in!

the handle has torn loose a couple times and not sure why. it's use by a young person, as expected, who doesn't carry great weight. other than that and a bit of sewing now and then the product is thoroughly enjoyed by the child and a fun conversational piece for him. he got the entire spaceman suit to go with. greatly enjoyed.

The backpack completed the Astronaut suit. We purchase the astronaut suit and accessories. Highly recommend it to keep everything together for dress up days. Dress up is great to expand their imagination. Have fun!

The backpack was an extra bonus that we got for my son. He loves it and when he dresses up, this goes on too. He puts all of his space food and toys in it. Plus, when playtime is over, it is a great way to store all the pieces of his suit and keep together.
