We bought this for my 3 yr old son for his Halloween Costume last fall. He has loved it! He makes me play space ship with him all the time and even wants to wear it to run errands. It's refreshing to find boy dress up clothes that aren't fictional super heros but allow them to create their own character to pretend to be. It also washes up amazingly well. I can't believe the stains that have come out of it. I would have given it 5 stars, but it is starting to show signs of pilling and one of the seams in the "suspenders" (for lack of a better term) has come undone. But I can over look that for the hours of imagination that it has opened up for my budding astronaut.

This is an awsome astronaut costume. I got this for my 5 year old son. I got size 6-8 and it fit him fine with some room to grow, but not much. So glad I read this suggestion. It looks wayyyy better than the picture even. My son looked so handsome. I think he might be like some of those kids that will want to wear it for several days. Thanks Amazon for have great stuff. And thanks to great people who write honest reviews to help subsequent buyers.

This costume was a big hit for my five year old, however, in less than a week's time, the suit has come undone at several of the seams. The material is very weak, and can't be re-sewn. If the material were more durable, I'd give this a five star rating, but as is, I would not recommend this product.

Some of the detailing is good. However, the fabric used was very thin, transparent and not durable. For that price, I would expect some kind of vinyl material which would make the suit look more authentic. My daughter had to wear a white outfit underneath because you can see through the cheap cotton fabric. What a disappointment.

Shipping took a reasonable amount of tiime, item is very cute and my 4 year old can put it on without assistance. Fabric is a little thin so I'm hoping it doesn't wear out soon, but it's adorable, comfortable, and age appropriate.

This is a great costume for any little kid who wants to be an astronaut. Just because the US isn't doing shuttle missions anymore doesn't mean kids can't dress up like their dream career! This is wonderfully detailed and even has NASA patches.

My 5 year old son wore this for Halloween. He absolutely loved it. Prior to Halloween, he would wear it in the house and pretend he was an astronaut. He really enjoys it. The costume itself is durable, well built and looks great. The patches are really cool. I purchased the 6-8 kids size and it fit him well. It's big enough so that he can wear this for at least another year or so. I highly recommend this if you or your child are into space or NASA.

This costume is awesome! My five year old son is always in dress-up of some kind and after we purchased the astronaut helmet, he had to have this. I ordered up one size and I am glad I did. (He wears a 4/5) It is a little big, but definitely wearable and will fit for a long time. Aside from how much my son loves it, I have one big kudo for this outfit. On the day that he received this outfit, he ran outside with it on to show off to the neighbors, hit a slippery patch of lawn (it had just rained), and totally wiped out. There was red mud all over one side of the suit- including the cap. I wisked it off, threw it in the wash on gentle with some color-safe bleach and it came out looking perfect. I was so relieved! Great suit and totally worth the price.
