Aerosmith Performance, August 30, 2007
This review is from: Aerosmith: In Performance (DVD)
I bought this because there are very few DVD's with Aerosmith Live. This DVD first and foremost is half talk with people from the UK - very British accent and basically says these guys were great but a bunch of Drug Addicts. It said released this year but the information ended in the Early 90's. The only thing that has a bit of shine of light - is the history of the albums made by the band. Otherwise I am very sorry I bought this and feel cheated for the money spent. The FAN club members for Aerosmith should have a bit of outrage over this release!!!

not what i was hoping for, April 9, 2008
This review is from: Aerosmith: In Performance (DVD)
First off i am a huge Aerosmith fan so keep that in mind when reading this review:
The title of this DVD is a little misleading... "Aerosmith: In Performance" - it is more of a documentary by some british folks that just run down the career of Aerosmith with a few highlights sprinkled in... I was hoping for full performances and that is not what you get... I would not recommend this product to anyone

Hurricane International - Arghhh!, August 18, 2007
This review is from: Aerosmith: In Performance (DVD)
Well of course it was going to happen. When records were around and this
new thing called a CD was available for new album's coming out, it was
great.
Once CD's took off, production companies looking to take advantage of the
new medium went back to the analog master and basically made a master CD
that was nothing more than the 15ips master the album was mastered from,
and was known as AAD. People wised up and after hearing some new digital
mastered, digital production, and digital duplication (DDD), these
releases of CD's in AAD format died mostly. Now you don't see an AAD,
you may see an ADD when the artist is dead and can't re-record the work
digital.
Well this is the same thing. Look at some of the other reviews from
compilations that are available from Hurricane International.
There is nothing new here. What is here is repeat footage available on
other DVD's and video that was cleaned up.
This DVD won't be worth more than an AOL 9.0 CD in the future, because if
you buy this, that is where it will end up. The media junk pile. :(
