Nice to look at for the first 10 minutes or so,

but it gets old pretty quickly after that. The terrain looks good and the controls are very easy to operate. But there aren't any combat missions; your entire selection of combat options are dogfighting against either one or two enemy planes. Most of the game consists of target shooting, flying around courses and shooting at baloons. This might be a good choice for a younger child who just wants to fly around some nice scenery and maybe learn to land the plane on the runway. I played it a total of about 2 hours and lost interest.

Aerowings 2 is great, but that depends on your taste in Flight Simulation. If your bag is casual flying with not too much attention to detail and more attention to blowing things up, this is probably not your kind of game. If, however, you want a game that truly gives you the feeling of true flight mechanics and top-of-the-line graphics, this is the game for you. It chaught my attention because of its smooth, realistic control and great attention to detail. It really feels like you're flying a real jet fighter! So many options, weather conditions, and a 2-player dogfight make this an awesome game.

Aerowings 2 : Air Strike is not only fun, but also smart. It has some of the most intuitive controls of any game. How could anybody of ever thunk that all of the controls needed for an aircraft simulation game could ever be fit into a console? Well, not me ; however, in this game, the controls are easy to learn and fun to use. The 2 player part of the game is fun, but can get seemingly repetitive after a while , as there is only one option : shoot the other guy down. It would have been nice had the developers included a capture the flag or team play, anything to give it more replay value. Overall, this game is fun, and the free mode in 1 player gives you lots of replay. I recommend it.

i just have to say this game was great. i rented it around 11 o'clock a.m. i stopped playing it at 12 at night. i was so drawn into it i didnt realize how long i had been playin. it is so real and being in a F-14 Tomcat was a dream it was just like a real HUD display. the only problem was there should be more American fighters, it was all focused around the jap jets, but i can understand it because it was made in japan. lol. so i give it a 4.5 out of 5 . great game but the price is still to high for me to buy .

This is a great flying game. Makes you feel like a real pilot with great controls. No, you don't get to blow up a whole lot of things, but it is pretty challenging. Good selection of planes to choose from and a fantastic training mode. It could use a little more variety of modes but the graphics and flight simulation are extremely good. Overall, a great game.
