The meat of the game is the Blue Impulse tour mode, where you enter several air shows. As you pull off intense and graceful stunts in follow-the-leader type aerobatics, you score enough points and progress to the next of 20 diverse missions. Sky mission mode has you flying through suspended hoops in challenging time trials. Throw in the free flight mode and the beautiful replays, and Aero Wings is a uniquely beautiful and addictive game. --Sajed Ahmed

The other review of this game is misleading. The person obviously did not spend much time with this masterpiece. This game is truly excellent in every area - control, sound, graphics. This game is difficult, but it is also very rewarding if you spend time with it. If you want a game that has great depth and replay value, then get Aero Wings. It's alot better than Air Force Delta. Aero Wings is one of the best experiences available on Dreamcast.

Not a "Blowed up real Good" Game -Technical and Challenging,

Ask yourself "What do I want in a game?". If the game is flashy but easy to beat people get bored with it and complain it's not challenging enough, but if a game like this one comes out and is challenging people get frustrated and say it's too hard to beat and give up on it. This is a game that requires that you use your head and not your cheat manual. The physics of the game is like flying a real plane. There's a lot to keep track of and it is challenging, but you get used to it. The game is broken down into various missions and some of them seem impossible but if you use your wits to think about and work through the situations you will clear the levels. To me, half the fun of gaming is trying to figure out on your own how to beat what seems unbeatable. The game's "Flight instructor" also insults you if you crash, which is a nice touch. A decent title if you want to use your head instead of putting your thumbs on auto-pilot.

This game I envisioned in my head almost a year ago. This game is 95% of what I wanted out of an airplane demonstration game. I only wish it was about the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds. The game is not for action or Air Combat lovers, it is for those who would like to learn aerodynamics such as: flaps, landing gears, roll rates, pitch, smoke, etc. This game is very detailed with "REALISTIC" flying, and is VERY difficult. If your an air show fan you will love it, if you like formation flying with a friend(s) you will love it, if your into strafing missions, an all out non-realistic flying combat - wait for Ace Combat 3 or something better for PS2. Good luck and don't crash!
