5.0 out of 5 stars Sweet Jazz candy for the soul!
Bruce McKenzie's skill as a guitarist is matched only by his gift at sculpting jazz riffs that can drift through your soul like cool, blue, smoke or pulse through your blood with the rythm of a yearning heart. He creates a unique blend of sophisticated melodies that will satisfy the tastes of Jazz purists and serve as the perfect introduction to anyone new to the...

...I'm afraid I don't care for the drum machine. I understand that as an independent Jazz guitarist that records, produces, and writes his own material Bruce is probably
trying to keep costs down but I have absolutely no love for drum machines. Most of you may not even be aware he's using a drum machine. How can I tell? Drum machines have

trying to keep costs down but I have absolutely no love for drum machines. Most of you may not even be aware he's using a drum machine. How can I tell? Drum machines have
no soul, no swig and sway, they are very mechanical, all they know is up and down, but what do you expect from a machine? The music itself? It's pleasing smooth jazz, nothing
earth shattering. A lot of you may put this on while you're fixing breakfast or out back while washing the car. It's OK Bruce but I think I'll pass.
