This is an excellent and richly-detailed reference.

It was a most-pleasant surprise to find this out-of-print and rare book available anywhere. The like-new copy is well worth the price.

The only closely-comparable book, and which is more general, is the "Language of Dress in the Middle East." Most other works on national dress, culturally-influenced dress and fashions, and customs in the Arabian Peninsula and Gulf region re superficial dreck by comparison.
