I am buying my fourth copy of this CD and two others of Pandolfi's: my mother-in-law wants them for her new Bose CD player and my two COLLEGE students want them for the dorm! Obviously, our whole family loves all of Pandolfi's music. They know he is my favorite pianist and the teenagers often put his CDs on to keep me calm! The beauty and clarity of his playing is so soothing. You can imagine my delight and surprise when the 18 and 20 year olds asked for his CDs for Christmas!

Pandolfi is Magic. An Affair to remember is truly that. It's a must in every collection.

I am very pleased with this CD. I had one stolen from my car and searched the local stores without success. The music is great and romantic.

I used to think there is no pianist who tops the likes of Jim Brickman and Brian Culbertson. I was wrong. Pandolfi is the bomb! He plays 'an affiar to remember' to true perfection. One can feel the music all the way to the heart.

This CD was sent to me for my Mother from Emile Pandolfi himself. They use to coraspond with one another many years ago.She is on hospice care, not much longer till she passes. I had to buy one for myself to keep. They are going to play this CD when my Mother Passes, some woman made a picture CD with my Mothers pictures, starting from her childhood all the way through her life. And in the back round is his music. Just beautiful. It is sad, but she just loved his music, & so do I. I bought her, her firt tape way long ago. Now I am buying as many of his CD's to replace the tapes. I say BUY BUY BUy :) He is a real wonderful man with a wonderful family. Very down to earth.

this is some of the best piano music I've heard for quite some time -- just a piano, nothing else.

Like all CD's by the master of piano,Emile Pandolfi, this is especially wonderful to listen to.

Wanting some atmospheric, easily accessible piano music for quiet times, I chose this cd for its selections, all of which are well-known themes from movies or musicals. Unfortunately, most of the pieces rendered here are overwrought, Rococo and saccharine, each one brim-filled with crashing arpeggios. Rather than let the music speak eloquently for itself, Pandolfi bludgeons us with bombast.

To be fair, if you are a fan of Emile Pandolfi's style, you won't be disappointed with this cd, but my copy is destined for the library bin.
