This is a fairly good set for beginners. The irons are easy to hit and produce good results. The 3 and 4 hybrid clubs are great for beginners who often have trouble hitting those irons. The driver is the only letdown in this set, it doesn't have the distance you want from a driver so I highly recommend purchasing another driver. If you go to a golf shop or used sports equipment place you can find a good used driver for $50-75. I can hit the 3 wood within 5 yards of the driver in this set, so the 3 and 5 fairway woods perform well. As a tall person (6'4) I had trouble in the past hitting with normal length clubs, I would often top the ball. This is one of the few tall sets you can find, and the added length works wonders.

The driver is the only letdown in this set, it doesn't have the distance you want from a driver. I would suggest one purchase the Orlimar Tri-Metal XR Driver or one of the other true Orlimar divers. The irons are easy to hit and produce good results. The 3 and 4 hybrid clubs are great for beginners who often have trouble hitting in the rough or fairways. If you really want a good set of clubs that provide forgiveness. Purchase the Tri-Metal XR driver and irons.
