You put a dent in the top of the driver because you hit the ball with the top of the driver instead of the face of the driver (The same thing would happen to a $500.00 driver). It's just like when you put a dent in your car when you hit a tree!!

Low End Set
This set seemed to be one of the most complete for a novice golfer and it is attractive, however the quality of the 1 driver was very poor. After only two trips to the driving range I noticed a dent in the top of the driver. After one more drive, the dent doubled in size. It looked like I had stomped on the top of it. I wasn't that unhappy with my performance! I have...

This set seemed to be one of the most complete for a novice golfer and it is attractive, however the quality of the 1 driver was very poor. I wasn't that unhappy with my performance! I have thrown out that driver and will continue to use the rest of the set as long as it lasts. I'm not ready for the high dollar clubs at this time, but this product is a "do not buy".
