Book Description

May 22, 2006
Do you need health insurance but aren’t sure how to research or even find medical coverage? Affordable Health Insurance in America provides the resources you need to thoroughly examine and understand comprehensive, yet affordable, health plans.

Over forty million Americans live without health insurance; and approximately twenty-five percent of personal bankruptcy filings each year are the result of individuals being unable to pay their medical bills. Attorney and author Edwin Havens teaches you what questions to ask when searching for the right plan for you and your family. Havens also educates you on what aspects of coverage are most important to your personal circumstances. He offers secrets and tips on topics such as the following:

  • Hidden sources that offer affordable health insurance coverage
  • Researching state and federal programs
  • All the factors to consider when purchasing a health insurance plan

The United States government may never offer a nationwide health care program, but having adequate health insurance is a necessity of modern life. Affordable Health Insurance in America will provide you the information, resources, and perspectives you need to make an educated and informed decision about medical coverage.

I picked up this book after I decided to venture out on my own and start a new business. There is such an abundance of information out there on this topic - But I have always found it difficult to consolidate all this information into a helpful and easy to understand format..Until now. This book provided me with the knowledge and understanding to make clear and deliberate decisions regarding my health care - allowing me to concentrate on the bringing my business online without consequences. I found the information in Mr. Haven's book to be entertaining as well as thought provoking. I now have all of my employees read this guide and would happily recommend it to anyone

Not only did I find this book very informative, I found it very entertaining. The author spoke to the reader in a casual, comfortable way often referring to his own life experiences. Also, the unique use of quotes throughout the book was both fun and thought provoking. I would recommend this book to anyone looking for information on healthcare who does not want the dry language of a text book.
