The cover picture of this book caught my attention first. I love the take-off on the granny square theme. This book covers a wide range of patterns. From lacy to dense, from ripples to climbing roses, from masculine to dainty, there's a wide range of choices. One pattern even included hairpin lace. Great book! I plan to enjoy warming myself and my family in several of its designs.

This book does have a large number of patterns but they seemed somewhat old fashioned to me so I sold the book to someone else.
