Editorial Reviews

From the Publisher

Frustrated with the lack of comprehensive literature available to explain the Afghanistan as a country I wrote "Afghanistan : A Volatile Country" , to inform those who are interested to know about this country. This book covers pre-dated history, Monarchy era, Soviet era, Civil war due to fight among Mujahideen factions, rise of Taliban, Role of Osama-bin-Laden in Taliban era, September 11 attacks, formation of Hamid Karzai government, relations of Afghanistan with neighboring countries and also the role of Afghan women in country such as Meena and Malalai Joya. Book also emphasizes the conditions in which ISAF (International Security Assistance Force) troops are working in Afghanistan. I also explained the government setup working under President Hamid Karzai in the year of 2007.'
