5.0 out of 5 stars for all abilities
This book is similar to the other Leisure arts books and it includes some really lovely afghans. On the cover is my favorite: the Pineones in afghan (or Tunisian) stitch and it has a simple variation which definitely got my attention. I also like the circular ones. Kirby's star for a dog could also double as a shawl. Blooming afghan is another measuring 60". I also like...

Do NOT buy this book! The patterns are horribly written. They are partial, inaccurate patterns. You will be disappointed. All the other Leisure Arts books are fine, but this one is horrid!!

This review is from: Afghans for All Reasons & All Seasons (Leisure Arts #4422) (Paperback)
I also like several by Jean Leinhauser which are done in just one stitch and color such as her Triple play . There are others by her in variations of the shell stitch. Another very attractive one is the 4 in one charity which are squares looking more like aran knitting. I haven't made anything yet, but probably most of the 39 afghans are error free. Type is large and easy to read. All directions are written out but where needed there are charts for the filet crochet for example. Yarn called for is acrylic which is generally easy to find. Recommended.
