About the Author
A versatile educator she has taught young learners and adults in the following institutions: Detroit?s Wayne County Community College District, Detroit Public Schools-elementary, and the United States Government Overseas Education System-France. Before becoming an educator Wina March? was a newspaper reporter/columnist and later a social worker. She has received numerous awards for community service and academic excellence. Her Undergraduate and Masters degrees are from Wayne State University. Her doctorate in Higher Education Administration is from the University of Michigan. Her first book, The Poetry of African American Invention: When One Door Closes Another Opens, is about inventors and their inventions. She is currently working on two manuscripts for children, I Love Books! and Thoughts and Such.
