5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent resource for diversity topics/activities., September 22, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: African American Awareness for Young Children: A Curriculum: Teacher Resource (Paperback)
28 brief lesson plans for grades pre-kindergarten to 1st grade using activities to enhance motor skills and creativity and knowledge of African American heritage topics. Clever snack recipies accompany the lessons (i.e., peanut butter sandwiches will be served with the lesson on George Washington Carver). This book was well received in our library for use in activity programs on diversity issues.
