Manga published this book in 98. Offering many suggestions on how to improve Cameroon's ramshackle economy. The suggestions seem thoughtful and logical.
Sadly, some 8 years later, Cameroon appears to be in as parlous a state as ever. Seems like nothing much has changed for the better. Which also does not speak well for the book's title. The book used Cameroon as a case study for all of Africa. Unfortunately, to this ends, there also appears to have been little improvement throughout Africa. With the possible exception of South Africa. |
