Get it,

I could just like this album because I've never owned a DTM CD from the band's old singer, but it is very good. Their guitarist has crazy talent, although a lot of the songs he sings aren't as good, vocally or composition-wise. Chicken, the other vocalist and bassist, is very talented. Modern muse and liebe liese are probably the best songs on the album. The first half of the album is way better than the second half, which really trails, but its definetly worth it if you can find this album for around ten bucks. Almost every song is catchy as hell. I only hope chicken has more songs on their next album. by the way, some of my favorite bands (just for taste comparison) are the clash, screeching weasel, against all authority, the queers, bomb the music industry, jawbreaker.Get it.

This is a different sound than their last releases, but don't hold that against it. This is still great music! I didn't like it much on the first listen, but it really grew on me.

If you are expecting Cuban Ballerina, you won't find it here. This album explores many different musical styles; ones you may not expect from Dead to Me. Make sure you give the songs a preview to see if you like. Still, it's quite a good CD if you give it a chance. Many people seem to put it off quickly just because Jack is no longer in the band and they don't sound like they used to. Boo hoo. You have to give it to Dead to Me for trying something new and coming up with a number of good songs. Go ahead, get this CD.

I've always been a fan of the singer from One Man Army. His voice is so freakin' unique and awesome. Cuban Ballerina and Little Brother were exactly what i was expecting. I can't say the same for African Elephants. What happened to their amazing singer? He's not in this album as far as i can tell. Besides that the songs weren't even catchy. I think the only reason i give it a 3 out of 5 is because it totally could have been worse... hopefully their next album will be better.

Been a fan of DTM since they started right after one man army, loved both their previous albums but they really released a dud here. All the hype for this album since little brother(best e.p ever written)and this is it? Jack's song writing skills and voice are missed heavily, and are replaced with lackluster, repetative and poorly put together songs.so pay no attention to the guy above that has his facts wrong,Jack is very much still with DTM just took time off to have a kid and will be back for the next album.Be wise and buy used there are a couple songs that are ok

Updated version of The Clash, this is some fast power punk, with some very catchy tunes also. I love the punk/ rock. variety. Five Stars
