I wanted to give my three children (6, 5, and 3) a taste of African music and this cd was quite the find! They love it and request it often.

We bought this CD for our children, but we probably enjoy listening to it more than they do! The tunes on this enchanting CD have a way of soothing, calming, and relaxing you. It's like being cradled and gently rocked in loving arms, but in a musical way. We love it...I recommend it for Moms and Dads and, oh yeah, of course the kids!

Gorgeous! Great alternatives to "When the Bough Breaks". An excellent addition to any collection, even if you don't have a kid!

we played this album for my husband's zimbabwean mother and she burst into tears when she heard "thula thula," which she used to sing to him when he was a baby.

our daughter loves this album and i even listen to it in the car when i'm driving around by myself. the songs are sometimes haunting and always soothing.

i highly recommend this collection for discriminating parents and children who are tired of the typical "children's music."

this is indeed very relaxing, (although you can tap your toes a bit!) and ageless. if most silly childrens' cds annoy you, you definitely can't say that about this album. i really like it!

Wonderfully relaxing music with sounds from all over the African continent. Whenever my husband plays this CD for our daughter, they both fall asleep.

This CD was given to my son for his first birthday. He still loves it now 2 and 1/2 years later. It's also works to soothe our new baby ( 3mos) who cries during car rides. I find the gentle, peaceful songs to be calming for me as well after a long day, and even after almost 3 years, I love to listen to it. I highly recommend this album.

Enjoyed by both Parent and Child in my family, this cd has become a permanent resident in the cd changer.

The minute I put this CD on the player, a gentle atmosphere surrounded the place, and my 3 children began to relax and calm down. This music gives you a sense of comfortness and tranquility that I have hardly ever heard before. Give this African CD a try, you won't be dissapointed

Both of our children, a 4yr old girl and 2yr old boy, grew up listening to this CD from the days they were born. Of all the CD's we own, if you ask either one what they want to here at bedtime, they'll both still say "Tu-lah" ( they get the name from the first track)

All of the songs are beautiful, and very peaceful. This is the perfect lullaby CD
