Beautiful!
This little gem of a book is truly wonderful and inspiring! Proverbs, sayings, historical and cultural information spanning both Africa and the African Diaspora are all included. Educational AND enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Too many things in just a short book
The proverbs are great, the riddles are fine, but there are many quotations, excerpts, and even holidays! I would have preferred the author would have limited to one proverb per day! That way the book would have been wonderful!
