A colleague gave me a bottle of this cough mixture when I had severe bronchitis. It was like a miracle! My coughing decreased immediately without any side effects. I asked 2 Chinese friends about it and they said that they always use it. Since it is made from all natural ingredients, there is no drowsiness or headaches. This is a hidden gem.

Several years ago, I came down with laryngitis that quickly turned into bronchitis. I turned to the usual over-the-counter stuff to relieve the symptoms, but nothing worked. Then a colleague at work recommended African Sea Coconut cough syrup. It was expensive by comparison to the commercial stuff, but what did I have to lose?

Well, I tried it, and...lo and behold!...it worked! It not only worked, but it was a pleasure to use. Unlike the usual stuff from the drug store, it actually tastes good, as well as calming coughs and helping get rid of congestion.

It's available in most health food stores. If you're local shop it having trouble getting it, it *is* available online. It may be somewhat more expensive than the commercial stuff, but it's better than throwing money away on something that doesn't work at all.

I have been using this stuff for decades now and not only is it good for coughs, it absolutley knocks colds out at the first sign of symptoms. If you feel the onset of a cold ie. post nasal drip etc..Just take a swig of this stuff every 3 hours or so for a day and you will NEVER get the cold that you expect to get even after you know you're going to get it for sure. Keep it around the house and use it whenever you feel like you may be coming down with something. It tastes good because it doesn't have any harsh toxic chemicals in it and it clears up your lungs if you have a tendency toward bronchitis from smoking, pollution, allergic reactions or anything else, you will thank God for it. You problems with your lungs will be GONE. Really!! You won't believe this stuff. I haven't EVER caught a cold with this stuff around. Try it and you will be totally convinced...It just works! I get mine in China Town in LA on Broadway. They sell it at almost any China Town herbal shop in any major city. They should have this stuff in every coffee break location at work. We would save a bundle in lost works days if we did! Buy 5 bottles! It is a slam dunk!!

Works for cold and cough- helps me sleep and breath and causes no side effects. I don't go into bronchitus anymore when taking this stuff. This medicine STAYS in my medicine cabinet. Have taken it for several years when I have a cold. So has my boyfriend.

This product surely is the best kept secret! I have tested every cough medicine that you can imagine. You name it, I've had take it, and no one ( and I have to say that again) No other medicine that I've taken before ever cured me as fast and as effective as this one. This medicine not only relieves you from all of your symptoms ( sore scratchy throat, tickling, cough,congestion,etc.), it absolutely cures you by addressing the cause of them, which is by loosening all the stucked phlegm no metter if it is in your head, and you elliminate it by your nose. Or if it is already in your lungs and you elliminate it by coughing. Give this product a try, and you will absolutely remember and thank me for it!!!!

This product is excellent. We first found it in Trinidad and then needed more. I was amazed and happy to find it through Amazon! Thank you. I had bronchitis, and this is the only medicine or product that worked, and it worked quickly. I highly recommend it.

We always have the Sea coconut Cough syrup in our house and have been buying it for over 30 years. It natural and works great without any side effects - No drowsiness or habit forming products in our house. It works in minutes and even our kids used it when they were small.

Can't be without it. We always have one in the cupboard just in case.

I use this product for my 2-year old toddler since he was 1 year old. Cough is diminished or goes away within the hour and it also works as an expectorant. There are no cough medicines for young toddlers. So it's great that I can use one that's safe, natural and works wonders. I put the medicine in his juice (per the dosage requirement for his age) and he drinks it!

OK, a friend recommended this to me, and I was highly skeptical, but it works, and it tastes quite good.

I started using this cough mixture about a year ago. I had this bad cough and my mom told me to drink it (she'd heard about it from a friend). I drank it, and it tasted very, very weird to me and I didn't like the taste much, but after swallowing, my itchy throat felt immediately relieved. The taste grew on me, too--it's not that horrible, especially compared to other Chinese medicines. In fact, it makes a pretty good tea-type medicine, since you have to add equal parts hot water to it. It's really very soothing.

It works fast too. Miraculously, about a day after I started drinking it regularly, my cough was gone. It's very cheap too, where we buy it. I would have given this product five stars, but I know where I can get this way cheaper compared to Amazon's six dollars. But if you're looking for a quick, soothing remedy for your cough or cold, six dollars for one bottle is definitely worth it.
