I like the fact that even though it's an oil --- it's not an oily oil. Meaning it absorbed quickly and didn't leave an oil residue. I originally purchased it for my hair but liked it so much I started using it on my skin as well. I will continue to purchase this product.

I've been using the shea butter oil on my hair and skin for almost a week now and let me just say, I am in love with it! My skin has never felt so soft and for once I don't have to keep applying something to it throughout the day. After my shower in the morning I apply the shea butter oil over my body and I'm good for the rest of the day. I also use it on my hair and let me tell you it is a miracle. I'm African American and have extremely coarse hair. The shea butter oil has softened it up and given it a healthier appearance. I can't keep my hands out of my hair. I apply it to my scalp and hair, wrap it at night and then in the morning when I unwrap my hair, it looks like I came out of the salon. This is one of the best purchases and I will definitely be ordering more!

I love this! I use it in my hair and on my skin! My hair is growing so fast! I'm going to continue to purchase this. I bought two bottles and I use them religiously! It has helped to make my skin super soft!

i have a lot of skin allergies and can't use most cosmetic stuff from stores. but this oil is wonderful for around my eyes and little spots that are bothering me

I recently bought this from Amazon to use on my hair,
and I'm glad I did, it's working really well.

I rub it into my scalp first, and then rub from root to tip on my hair, and leave it on for about an hour before washing it. The results have been great, my hair is extremely soft, and my scalp feels a lot healthier.



As far as the size of the bottle goes, I think it's actually a pretty good size.
And you can't tell from the picture, but the top of the cap has an applicator attached,
which makes it a lot easier when applying the oil to the scalp and roots.


I haven't tried it on my skin yet,
but I'd defiantly recommend it to anyone with dry or damaged hair,
especially if you color it frequently.

The product was as described. Great for normal to dry skin, absorbs immediately. Even used on my split ends. Good buy.

My kids have mild eczema and I think the shea butter oil works well in any season. The quality of the product was great and was delivered quickly. However, the shipping is pretty pricey given such a small quantity.

What I really love about this product is that although it's an oil, it absorbs quite rapidly and you only need a drop to moisturize your entire face and neck...my skin feels nice and smooth afterwards...better than regular lotion and can be used all over...I also use it on my locks...

So I've just receive my bottle of African Shea Butter Oil to compliment the dudu odsen black soap and my tub of raw shea butter. Well, I've only had this bottle for one day.. as soon as I applied it to my face, my face became instantly silky. Also, it doesn't leave a "greasy" look or an oily residue on your hands, this stuff's amazing. I also applied a little in my chemically treated hair and it feels incredibly soft! I've read other reviews where the shea butter has been linked to hair growth, but we shall see! I will update...

I was having alot of problems with hair breakage and severe dryness. This product has put a complete end to this problem. I apply a few drops of this oil to my hair each morning and just before bed, and my hair looks and feels fabulous. My hair has also began to grow again! I also recommend Sheamoisture Shea Butter leave in conditioner. If you are having problems with hair breakage and dry, itchy scalp, I highly recommend this product! : )
