I think African Soldier is a great Introduction to Sugar Minott,It was my first Sugar Minott album back in 1989, it is roots reggae quality all the way.I try and stay away from lovers reggae so this album was perfect for me and others that prefer roots reggae.If you want to continue to check out Sugar Minott after you purchase African Soldier I suggest Ghetto-ology + Dub
