5.0 out of 5 stars This video enhance my childrens outlook on courage and faith
It is very important that children now that fear is a real emotion, but it can be overcome! I am so tired of seeing videos that always portray white children always overcoming. It is encouraging to SEE a video finally come out with a child of color overcoming.

3.0 out of 5 stars The movie content is terrific.
Initial setting is in LA and the character of Kwaku steals your heart as he conquers his fears. The music is engaging as the story moves to the continent of Africa and story tellers enact various folk stories. I will use this video in the classroom as I teach and it will provide many opportunities to share. I give it 3 stars due to the poor quality of the video...

I will use this video in the classroom as I teach and it will provide many opportunities to share. I give it 3 stars due to the poor quality of the video. Picture is very grainy and sometimes hard to see due to excessive copying. If the producer could improve the video quality, this would be a great presentation.

This is quite possibly one of the most underrated TV programs that I have ever seen. I'm surprised it isn't stocked up in video stores like it should be. This is one of the greatest programs that I've ever seen, and it's not only for kids but for adults/parents/teachers too. I highly recommend this videotape. This tape crosses gender, cultural, age, and racial barrier lines. This is a program for ALL to see. A sequel should have been made.
