You don't have to understand the words, just sit back and relax, and let Africa enter your personal world! The effect is pure hypnotism. The track selections come from as far south as South Africa up to the Congo, and the music spans up to 30 years. Each item is as individual as could be, and yet the infused influences of blues, soul, jazz are all part of this wonderful tapestry of sound and language. I have played this disc over and over and over, and I still find something new in it every time. An extremely well compiled selection.
