I wanted to know how come they dont sell the severe congestion spray in the stores any more ? They sell sinus and the regular afrin spray but i have a hard time finding this paticular spray and its the best one out of all of them . I have gone to so many stores and they never have this spray, I think they should have this spray on the market all the time like they have the other ones I cant tell you how well this spray works and so quick and quick relieve at the same time I have refered this spray to so many people and they think its great but when you run out and you cant find it in the store what good is it when you have to wait so long to recieve it in the mail.It would be nice if they had it in the store more often.

The gift of breth is wonderful. It gives you quick long lasting relief from nasal congestion. The light menthol aids in the rapid relief. I find this nasal sprayer better than the "No drip pumps" they offer and less costly.

I have a deviated septum and have suffered from nasal congestion for years. I have tried just about every other product over the counter, and afrin severe congestion is the best one. The only reason I can't rate a 5 is because it never lasts the full 12 hrs but I suspected it was due to the severity of my problem more so than the product. The no drip pump works the best for serious sufferers like me. As others have stated, you do need to give it a few minutes to work for severe congestion as it doesn't happen immediately. But if you use too much, it can make the sinus passages burn and cause other problems. Keeping in mind that you are not supposed to use these products long term, for severe congestion this is one of the best on the market. The only one that comes close is Kirkland severe congestion nasal spray compared to afrin but I've had a difficult time finding it.

Shop around for better price, my local food lion sells it for $5.99 and it's a little cheaper than going to walmart even!

Due to a deviated septum I have had nasal congestion problems since childhood and tried lots of different decongestants. I started using this product when it first came out and have never switched back to anything else. For me this works better than any other nasal decongestant.

This is very powerful, so it is important not to overdo it. Otherwise you will suffer a "rebound" effect where your nose becomes even more stuffed than it was originally (I've already done it more than once). Also, for really severe congestion, you need to be a little patient. It can take several minutes before you notice relief, so don't start pumping more spray in after 30 seconds or you will make matters worse by creating the "rebound" effect.

Bottom line: Great product. However, shop for price. My local CVS and Walgreens each sell this for around $5.99 at the moment.

This is the best product on the market for sinus problems. I have a deviated septum and usually mouth breath. I use this at night and the nostrils open up immediately. But-----! I pay $5.99 at Walgreens for it. What's up with Amazon's price? Typo?

This stuff works better than anything I have ever used. I don't think the cocaine paste they use in ENT surgery would do as good a job as this stuff. No kidding.

I have had success with nasal pumps including Vick's Sinex and Afrin No-Drip Severe Congestion. One might assume that approximately the same product by the same brand would be equally effective. This product does not live up to the claim that it keeps nasal passages clear for 12 hours because that would imply that it is effective at all.

I do not use any type of medicines, but I do need nasal sprays and have been using them for a long time. I have used several different brands and I can say, without a doubt, Afrin is the worst of all. It makes my nose feel like it is on fire. On top of that, it is not true that it lasts 12 hours and it is the most expensive and overpriced of all.
