Perhaps the most exciting of the BMG/Tropical Series, "Afro-Cuban Jazz Moods" two volume series, both the compilation choice and sound of this volume will please the most demanding jazz fans. Listen to Tito Puente at his absolute best in "Birdland After Dark", "Havana After Dark","Night Ritual", "Witch Doctor's Nightmare" and "3-D Mambo", Perez "Mambo King"Prado in "Mosaico Cubano/Cuban Sketch" and "Flight of the Bumblebee", Shorty Rogers in "Un Poco Loco", Noro Morales in "Serenata Ritmica" and Eddie "Vibes"Cano in "Ecstasy" and "Yesterdays" and you will agree with me that this historical compilation is unique in sound an rhythm. Another Tropical Series gem!
