Biography

It’s 4:20 somewhere. Or at least that’s the way AFROMAN sees the world through his green tinted shades. If you took a musical bong hit concocted out of equal parts Biz Markie, Cypress Hill, Beck, Beastie Boys, and James Brown, the ensuing head rush might be comparable to AFROMAN’s unique sound. His Universal debut, The Good Times, is the funniest feel good album of the year, ... Read more in Amazon's Afroman Store

For anyone who doesn't like the song, for shame on you. So what if the music itself isn't that good, so what if it's rude and annoying, "Because I got high" is a very funny song and should be heard by all (if they can handle it). I find it to be very close to how you would listen to AC/DC's "Big Balls." The song isn't loud and powerful (or even orthodox for that matter), but it just a good song to sit back with and laugh and mellow out with. I haven't listened to the whole album, but "High" is really a feel-good song to relax with. Afroman may not come out with another hit, but this one's sure going to be in the record books.

First i would like to say that every song ive ever heard from afroman is seriously amazing. I swear this is exactly what hip hop and the rap game needs. His lyrics and flow are really good, his beats are soo tight. He has his own unique style thats irresistable. Everyone should pick up a copy of this cd and all of his others.Afroman is down to earth and talks about real stuff and also loves talking about having a good time with his homies smoking weed and getting drunk. He is really funny too. He's not all about smoking weed and he dosnt talk about it to be cool. Just have an openmind and please listen, just because he isnt a mainstream rapper like 50 cent dosnt mean he isnt good. Everytime i listen to one of his cd's it automatically puts me in a good mood. I reccommend to get all of cds, you will NOT be dissapointed. Albums: 1.Sell your dope 2.The Good Times 3.Afroholic - The even better times 4.4ro:20

He also has a new cd with his group :The Hungry Hustlers - Starvation is Motivation. And he has a christmas album Afroman - Jobells which is really funny

I bought this album because I'm from Mississippi, and I buy pretty much anything that's local and different. This is also on T Bones Records, which is owned by some of the members of possibly the greatest Southern rock band in the world, Loppybogymi. Afroman writes all the music, handles most of the production and comes out styling. He reminds me of a cross between early Too Short and E40, and maybe a little of the Biz. I have played this for about twenty people, who listen to all different types of music, and all but a few want to know how to get it. I'm glad to see this and other T Bones releases on Amazon.com. If anyone knows how to get his first album Sell Your Dope, email me at cc1@muw.edu.

What a great tune! Just when you think they have to wind this song up, they come at you with more lyrics that are right on track. F U N N Y!
Reminds me of those good old days (before paranoia set in) and makes you long to get high again. A must for your parties. BUY THIS ONE NOW.

The first time I ever heard Afroman was on vacation in Michigan, we met these people from Ohio, where Afroman is popular I guess?? I absolutely loved it and had to get a copy. I strongly reccomend this CD, but let's just remember it's for fun and it's a joke!!!

This CD-Single is simply hilarious. I can listen to it on and on, and I just start laughing each time. I am not a fan of rap either. These three tunes just remind me of those wierd high school and college acquaintances that engaged in some excesses. These tunes describe them to a tee.
