We are on the deflationary phase of the fourth American economic long cycle. Haga gives a clear overview of where the American economy is heading, and why, including government's role in the oncoming events.

Haga has done a masterful job of demonstrating from the regularities in historical economic data why we are approaching an economic low point in America's fourth Kondratiev (60-year) cycle, and how economic, political, moral and other features of today's society compare with America at the same point in past cycles. Haga also gives advice on how to best prepare for the coming discontinuities.
