At what lengths will a person go to make their spouse happy, even if it means sacrificing their Christian beliefs? Germani always turned a blind-eye to her husband, Scott's addiction to pornography. Although this was against her Christian beliefs, on occasion, she would watch a pornographic movie with her husband before lovemaking. However, a night out at a strip club with her husband, to celebrate his birthday, causes Germani to reassess her beliefs and settle on making a change. Scott was introduced to pornography at an early age. As time goes on he thinks he can control it, but his obsession grows stronger and his marriage is beginning to suffer as Germani's trust starts to waver. Will they seek God's guidance through their difficult time or continue to do what's pleasing to them? AFTER THE FEELING is an emotional story of obsession, sacrifice, and the deliverance of an issue which plagues many marriages today. Williams not only shows us, through her characters the anguish and embarrassment one goes through not knowing how to cope, but also out of desperation, something more severe can happen. The portrayal of the characters is realistic and the insightful message can be applied to our everyday lives. Reviewed by Sharon Lewis of The RAWSISTAZ(tm) Reviewers

Truly needed topic, thoroughly engrossing read, June 21, 2009
This review is from: After the Feeling (Urban Christian) (Paperback)
I read over 100 pages in one night to the book's end, not because it was my intention to but because the ending was engrossing. The author serves up an honesty about a wife who enables her husband's addiction, but is not as supportive in praying him through his struggles. Their marriage suffers a dark period. Through the dark circumstances the authors theme of God meeting you where you are, shines through. No quick fixes here. The author shows that deliverance is a process. Thanks for delivering the truth.
