At what lengths will a person go to make their spouse happy, even if it means sacrificing their Christian beliefs?

Germani always turned a blind-eye to her husband, Scott's addiction to pornography. Although this was against her Christian beliefs, on occasion, she would watch a pornographic movie with her husband before lovemaking. However, a night out at a strip club with her husband, to celebrate his birthday, causes Germani to reassess her beliefs and settle on making a change.

Scott was introduced to pornography at an early age. As time goes on he thinks he can control it, but his obsession grows stronger and his marriage is beginning to suffer as Germani's trust starts to waver. Will they seek God's guidance through their difficult time or continue to do what's pleasing to them?

AFTER THE FEELING is an emotional story of obsession, sacrifice, and the deliverance of an issue which plagues many marriages today. Williams not only shows us, through her characters the anguish and embarrassment one goes through not knowing how to cope, but also out of desperation, something more severe can happen. The portrayal of the characters is realistic and the insightful message can be applied to our everyday lives.

Can Scott and Germani's marriage persevere despite obstacles? Will Scott and Germani be able to get through their issues without compromising their Christian beliefs? "After the Feeling" is author T.N. Williams' novel about a marriage marred with negative impulses - namely pornography. The Wilson family - Germani and Scott are at a crossroads in their marriage - Scott is addicted to pornography, and Germani is trying hard to salvage her marriage without compromising her Christian beliefs, and feelings from a past relationship. Other characters include Scott's childhood, and disillusioned, best friend, Damon, and Damon's wife, Cherish - both with major issues individually and collectively as a couple.

"After the Feeling" is a heartfelt, believable story about compromise, marital strife, family and friendships -- the consequences of actions and the power that Christianity plays in each relationship.

I read over 100 pages in one night to the book's end, not because it was my intention to but because the ending was engrossing. The author serves up an honesty about a wife who enables her husband's addiction, but is not as supportive in praying him through his struggles. Their marriage suffers a dark period. Through the dark circumstances the authors theme of God meeting you where you are, shines through. No quick fixes here. The author shows that deliverance is a process. Thanks for delivering the truth.

Author T.N. Williams does it again. After The Feeling is a candid look at pornography addiction in both Christian and non-Christian marriages. This book will make you think and evaluate your own views on the subject and how far a woman should go to "submit" to her husband.

Format: Paperback
Germani has been trying to sweep her husband's obsession with pornography under the rug and pretend it does not exist. The more she tries to deny it, the more it becomes a burden. When she decides to take a look at herself and her faith in Christ, she learns that her husband does not share her same values. This puts a tremendous strain on her marriage to Scott. When Germani tries to get Scott to give up his fetish, he completely ignores her request. As a result, Germani starts to question her marriage to Scott.

Scott and Germani soon discover the differences between them. As her walk with God became stronger, Scott became more and more distant. He told her that he could give up porn. He soon realized that his desires consumed him and it would be difficult for him just to walk away. Their differences became frustrating and just too hard to deal with. They sought advice from almost everyone, except the one true source that would be able to help them and their marriage. It will take almost a miracle to save their marriage, but are they willingly to ask for the help they need to save it?

After The Feeling is a book about the realization of a secret that plagues so many marriages. Even though this is a Christian novel, there's so much reality to it. T.N. Williams not only showed readers the characters' sadness and frustration, but also what prayer can do when you are truly sincere. This is one of those books that you just don't want to put down. If you want a little deliverance, I would advise you to pick up After The Feeling. You will not be disappointed.
