My goal with 'After Hours Trading Made Easy' was to place the extended hours sessions, both pre and after-hours,in their proper context within the overall trading day, which is heading toward the 24 - 7, around the world experience.

So, not only did I write about the ECNs, the online brokers, and short term trading strategies, but I also wrote about subjects that can help investors make money during all trading sessions.

For example, I described an indicator which can truly predict when the Fed is going to change its mind on interest rates with a high degree of accuracy,page 11. I summarized technical analysis and described blow by blow trades on stocks by using technical indicators which are available on free charting sites.

I discussed and fully disclosed a proprietary indicator called the Super 7 Market Forecaster on chapter 10 which shows the reader how to make sense of market sentiment, and which has a great record of predicting the long term performance of the S&P 500.

I provided detailed examples of how to write winning trading plans, and discussed the rules of margin trading, giving examples of how to stay out of trouble and what not to do, if you want to stay in the business of trading.

In closing, I think this book is for any investor who wants to add useful knowledge to his or her trading and investing strategies at any time.

Save your money, unless you don't know that you can still make trades before and after the normal, 9:30 am to 4:00 pm, stock market hours of operation.

This book in my opinion doesn't do much other than to explain, you can trade after hours if you choose a broker that allows you access to the ECN's which operate longer hours then the normal market times. They fill the rest of the book with explanations of charting, and other technical analysis, and there are many other books that do that much better. I found nothing on techniques of trading after hours, which this book implies will make easy.

I would sell this book used, but my ethics prevent me from hoisting this on you.

An excellent book on after-hour trading and technical analysis that cuts through all the hype surrounding this subject. Save yourself a lot of money and read this book BEFORE you make your mistakes!
