This isn't the best single from 'Steptacular' but it has a quality that creeps up on you. It's great to see them do this live and yes, it's an Abba-on-acid kind of thing. But I like that! Claire's vocal is stunning - the girl can sing! Stick with them - The next few singles from Steptacular are great.

I THINK THIS IS THE BEST THAT THE GROUP HAVE DONE

I absolutely adore Steps-"After The Love Has Gone" is just an example of what Steps are. The video, is just amazing-it just combines with the song so well, making this another wonderful song for Steps.

Upon listening to the first few notes of this excellent single, I couldn't help but notice the resemblance to ABBA's 1970's classic, FERNANDO. But that's no surprise since Steps has always basically sounded like an ABBA tribute band. I am not knocking Steps at all, mind you. I love this song. The vocals on AFTER THE LOVE HAS GONE are great, and I have to say that this is my favorite of all of Steps' great songs. I just bought the "Steptacular" album tonight, and I keep listening to this one song over and over again. This is a fun, albeit schmaltzy, song - hopefully this single will be remembered by Steps fans as fondly as ABBA fans recall the Euro-Latin FERNANDO.

I LIKE THE SINGLE SOOOOOOOO MUCH, IT IS THE THEIR BEST SONG. THEY HAVE THE BEST DANCE MUSIC AMONG ALL OTHER GROUPS. IF YOU ARE INTO POP AND DANCE POP MUSIC, YOU DEFINITELY SHOULD BUY THEIR ALBUM SPEP ONE AND SPECTACULAR. YOU SHOULD ALSO SEE THEIR VIDEO, THEY HAVE SOME NICE MOVE.

After great songs on Step One (now out in the US) I was slightly disappointed by this song from their second album. It has little of the dance-floor feel of "One For Sorrow""Better Best Forgotten""Tragedy" or "Last thing on my mind".

I would definitely advise US fans to buy Step One, and maybe Steptacular. Generally they try to be nothing more than cheesy but the music is still upbeat and fun. It has got to be the dance music around if you like dancing properly. p.s. One for Sorrow is such a copy of ABBAs "The Winner Takes it All" that it is unreal.

Steps are Englands greatest musical talent at the moment and this single makes them even more amazing!!! The second single to their second album "Steptacular", "After the love has gone" brings Claire Richards to lead vocals this time and their voices fill you with amazingness and wonder! Steps rule and I believe that evryone should go out and buy their album Step-one and the new album "Steptacular"!!! Faye Tozer is beautiful!!!

Absolutely one of the better tracks or should i say one of the only listenable tracks by them from their new album. It is no doubt an ok song that will not be your average no.1 song u can try it if you feel that you got 10.99 to spend if not just ignore it
