5.0 out of 5 stars Sheek Louch really did it this time
I wasnt all that fond of the first album but this album is fire man. Damn!

1. Intro - (4.5/5) good start

2. Street Music - (5/5) the one with Game was better. This beat is the truth

3. On The Road Again - (5/5) kills this song speaking his mind about the business and his experiences traveling and such

4. Pain feat...

As far as "third member of the group's albums" go, I would buy this over Pras or Phife Dawg. But this album is still a little disappointing. He disses 50 Cent for singing on "Maybe If I Sing" but then he has a song with Carl Thomas, "One Name", and sings himself on "Kiss Your A** Goodbye". 2. Street Music - (5/5) the one with Game was better. This beat is the truth

3. On The Road Again - (5/5) kills this song speaking his mind about the business and his experiences traveling and such

4. Pain feat. Jadakiss - (4/5) Talking about pain. Jada drops a good verse

5. 45 Minutes To Broadway - (5/5) kinda like One The Road Again but im loving this beat and the chorus

6. One Name feat. Carl Thomas - (3/5) didnt really like this track too much

7. Guess Who (interlude)

8. Maybe If I Sing - (4/5) Another killa G-UNOT diss. I was hoping Kill Yaself was on this because that song was better than this. This chorus kinda sucks too

9. Devine feat. J-Hood - (3/5) worse song on the CD to me. They spit good but this beat was kinda wack to me

10. Kiss Your Ass Goodbye (remix) feat. Fabolous, Beanie Sigel and T.I. - (5/5) 2nd favorite song. Every verse is good. Fab drops the hardest verse to me

11. Do Not Interrupt (interlude)

12. Run Up feat. Styles P - (6/5) Best song to me. CLASSIC gangsta song. Styles and Sheek are a good duo that kill it. damn fiyah!!!

13. Get Up Stand Up feat. Redman - (4.5/5) Ahhhhh hell Redman is back dropping bombs. This song was great

14. Pressure - (3.5/5) ok song kinda filler but it was still decent

15. Movie Ni**az feat. Ghostface Killah - (5/5) Ghostface and Sheek kills it. Thats all I gotta say

16. Juice Bar (interlude)

17. All Fed Up - (4/5) About cheating on his wife and pictures blow talking to a female fan out of proportion

18. Get Money feat. Jadakiss - (4.5/5) This beat is great. They both drop great verses

19. Kiss Your Ass Goodbye feat. Styles P - (4.5/5) I liked the remix better but this one was good. Styles P and Sheek make a great team and they do a great job on this

Favorite songs are On The Road Again, Pain feat. Jadakiss and Run Up feat. Styles P.

Just get the CD. You wont be disappointed.

2.0 out of 5 stars dissapointed, February 18, 2006
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
I bought this album with high expectations.I must say i was very dissapointed.I couldnt wait to get after hearing Kiss Your Ass Goobye and Street Music but unforuntley they are two of the only bright spots on the album. If i sing is a terrible song, he could of used any of his other diss songs about 50 instead of this one.And then critcizes 50 and then puts out One Name, which is laughable.I recommend that no one buy this album.Instead download the before mentioned bright spots.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good effort, even the song Maybe If I Sing, March 4, 2006
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
Sheek Louch's album is better than his debut. I didn't like some of the debut because it didn't show his flow, rap style or his lyrics enough. The production, beats and music took more attention. But this album, Sheek has better flow, cadences and lyrics. The best number is the funny, yet honest Maybe If I Sing, as he lashes at 50 Cent and his G-Unit members. He goes after their excessiveness of money and guns in their lyrics. There are a few times where I go, Did he really say that? It just shows his lyrical style more. The album's very diverse from street numbers to a song with Carl Thomas. He will be a face to watch from the Lox right after Jadakiss.

3.0 out of 5 stars Somewhat Watered Down {3 Stars}, June 23, 2006
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
On his second outing, Sheek Louch takes aim at the airwaves and his sound takes a hit because of it. Gone are most of the gritty, no nonsense thug anthems from his first LP. Those songs are replaced by radio friendly love songs that sound as cheesy as you might imagine. Sheek is at his best when he has 50 Cent in his crosshairs. Only then does Sheek return to his old form and covers his old topic range. Though the album is entertaining in spots, there are still a lot of noticeable holes in it. Guests include T.I., Ghostface Killah, Jadakiss, Styles P., Fabolous, Beanie Sigel, and Carl Thomas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Sheek Is Fire!, November 10, 2005
By
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
I have been waiting a long time for Sheek Louch's sophomore LP, and I've gotta tell you...he didn't disappoint! This album is pure 100% fire. Sheek proves that D-Block is not just Jada and Styles P (both great lyricists). Sheek shows that he has some talent of his own and has made himself become known with his various disses at G-Unit through the mixtape circuit. Some of his standouts are:

1) On The Road Again
2) Kiss Your Ass Goodbye (Remix) Feat. Fab, Beans, & T.I
3) Maybe If I Sing (G-Unit Diss)
4) Run Up Feat. Styles P.
5) Movie N***** Feat. Ghostface Killah
6) Kiss Your Ass Goodbye (Remix) Feat. Styles P.

I suggest that all of you try out this album. Big ups to Sheek Louch for delivering a great hip-hop album. This is one of the best hip-hop albums of the year in my opinion. Keep it up Sheek!

3.0 out of 5 stars You are the weakest link goodbye!, September 7, 2006
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
I think its sad that Sheek's mixtape was better than this album. When Walk Witt Me came out I was probably the only one defending him from the charge of being the weakest out of the Lox but with this album he demotes himself back to being a weak link. Standout Tracks: INTRO, STREET MUSIC(where's Game?), ON THE ROAD AGAIN, 45 MINUTES TO BROADWAY, MAYBE IF I SING(funny G-unit diss), DEVINE and KISS YOUR A** GOODBYE(original and the remix) These track get rotation but these make this album avoidable. Filler: Pain, One Name(worser than Jadakiss's U Make Me Wanna), Run Up, Get Up Stand Up(worse collabo with Redman ever made!),Pressure(I lost all respect for him when he made this ignorant track), Movie N****s(YAWN!), All Fed Up(again YAWN!) and Get Money(Im falling asleep here YAWN!). Bottom Line: Sheek goes back to being the weak link in the Lox with this lackluster, sophomore jinx. The production for most of the tracks were bad and Sheek didnt put half the effort that he put in Walk With Me on this album. At this present time Sheek has the worst album out of the Lox.

5.0 out of 5 stars a bunch of D##k Riders, November 18, 2005
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
whoever wrote the "murda" review is a dick rider who needs to stop suckin off 50 cent. If you are going to give a review about an album, tell what u think of the album, not who the newest member of g-unit is. I don't hate on g-unit but not all their music is good. This album is one of the best this year and much better than Sheek's debut album, so anybody on this page that wrote gggggg... is a dick rider and does not appreciate real music. Mase is a clown because he needed to join g-unit to sell records. He is a good rapper but he's a fake ass preacher that Jim Jones bitched. Fab would eat him in a battle. 50 makes good music but he is not that good lyrically. THE END!! fake ass rap fans

5.0 out of 5 stars Y.O.!! 914!!!, November 8, 2005
This review is from: After Taxes (Audio CD)
I didn't expect this kind of fire from Sheek Louch. Truly one of the hottest albums that has hit the streets. The Production is awesome. Too bad After Taxes still wont sell due to poor promotion.

1)Intro - One of the hottest tracks on the Album 5/5

2)Street Music - I thought Game was suppose to be one this song but anyway its still hot 5/5

3)On the Road Again - Similar to "I Ain't Forget" on his first album where he raps about his current life 4.5/5

4)Pain ft Jadakiss - Nice club beat. Jada came hard 4.5/5

5)45 Min to Broadway - Similar to "On the Road Again" but not as good 4/5

6)One Name ft. Carl Thomas - Song for the ladies. Definitely will hear this song on the radio 4/5

8)Maybe if I Sing - HAHAHA!! Sheek Louch bringin the Heat! "Dont Worry Ja. I got Him. Say GoodNight!!" His hottest G-Unit Diss. The hook is funny 5/5

9)Devine ft. J Hood - Wasen't feelin this song too much. The beat was poor. Nice to see J Hood thou. 3/5

10)Kiss your Ass Goodbye Remix ft. Fabo, Beanie, T.I. - Hottest remix of the year. T.I. killed it. 5/5

12)Run Up ft Styles p - Hottest track on the Album. 100/5

13)Get Up Stand Up ft. Redman - I love the beat to this song. Redman still brings the heat 5/5

14)Pressure - I like how Sheek brought his slow-tempo rap on this track. Talks about the streets 4/5

15)Movie Niggas ft. Ghostface Killah - Sheek definetly has great guest appearances on his album. 5/5

17)All Fed up - Another ladies song. It's alright. Sings on the hook. nothing great 3/5

18)Get Money ft. Jadakiss - Another great song with a club beat. too bad Jadakiss is only on the hook. 4.5/5

19)Kiss Your Ass Goodbye remix ft. Styles p - Sheek Louch comes harder on his verse on this remix. D-BLOCK Anthem! 5/5

Overrall, d-block fans will not be dissapointed. Also will attract other rap fans. Those who doubt Sheek Louch have to give him a chance and listen to this album. After Taxes is better than his first with better production and guest appearances.

D-BLOCK!!!!!
