I have been a longtime Peter Salett fan (I now have all four of his cds, and I must have seen him play 20 times) and I have to say I think After A While is Peter's best work so far. Peter's voice just sounds so good, and the style of the production is so open and spare that I never get tired of it. The package is very cool too. One thing that is great about going to see Peter play live is that it is never the same show, and he puts a lot of emotion into his singing, and I think this cd captures that beauty very well.

Peter Salett sets the bar really high with his 4th album. His voice is as rich, his music as engrossing as it is stylistically varied, and the emotions as raw as they ever were. Put your headphones on and enjoy the ensuing feelings of warmth and well-being.

Definitely a must-have CD!

(On a side note, I don't see how "With Anybody Else" could avoid climbing the charts.)

I first saw Peter Salett opening up for They Might Be Giants in DC at the 9:30 club - me and friends didn't know who he was but he blew us away - and then he played that song from Wet Hot American Summer! I looked him up on his website and listened to a few of his songs and I was hooked - such good songs and my friends love it too.

Peter Salett has done it again with his new album "After Awhile". It is filled with the sound that Peter Salett fans have grown to love, but still ad's some new flavor. "After Awhile" is filled with clever lyrics and amazing music to compliment. This CD is must have. If you buy one CD this year, Make it Peter Salett "After awhile". This CD is AMAZING !!!
