We have the blue version and we got it after christmas so we could have a spare & it is wonderful. It works with all the games, & the motion plus. What really sold me was that it was 1) cheaper than a regular wii controler, 2) it lights up, and 3) I can select different light settings! If you have the lights on constanly it will eat through batteries like mad, but if you change the setting to where the lights only activate when moved they will last a while. My only issue was putting the wrist strap on it. I ended up using my crochet hook to get it threaded. I haven't had any issues with syncing, or vibrations. The lights are pretty spiffy at night, but not so much durning the day, but it's also clear so that's pretty neat. So far my 6 yr old has played heaps with it & it still works as good as new!

I got this remote for my guitar since I didn't want to keep pulling my expensive plus remote in and out of the guitar slot.
The red one looks beautiful with my GH:WOR guitar! it is very bright and pretty. Also, using these remotes with guitars, or fishing reels, etc. help keep you from needing to cover the lights up with the silicon jacket.
The con is that it does use a lot of battery life when you use the lights, rumble, and volume. I've never personally needed the rumble or volume on the remote itself, so with these options off, the battery life of any wii remote is practically doubled. I have had the same double aa's in for two weeks now, and the guitar is used every day. A great buy for looks and basic use.
I would like to know if someone has tried it with a motionplus attachment...

it works well enough with the Wii, but it doesn't seem to be quite as accurate as the Nintendo brand controllers.

Got one of these with our Wii system, thinking why pay full price for a Nintendo brand remote?

Well, within three days the Nunchuk potion of the remote stopped working, so we brought it back to where we bought and and exchanged it.

Lo and behold, the replacement failed in the same way within three days. so I'm off to get another replacement.

One failure might be considered a random glitch but two identical failures lead me to believe the folks that manufacture these have some serious quality control problems.

I basically bought this remote because it was inexpensive (Gold Box deal for under $20). I already had 4 Wii remotes before buying it but figured for the price it might be worth it to have an extra that I leave in my Guitar Hero guitar.

I found this remote to be slightly sluggish compared to a regular (Nintendo) Wii remote but that is of no consequence when I'm using it in the guitar. The lights look good with the guitar if you're into that sort of thing.

Got this for my boyfriend's little sister since her original Wii Brand remote broke. The lights are really cool and it makes playing in the dark fairly interesting. The buttons were a little hard to push since it's new, and it doesn't look exactly like the Wii remotes but it's really cool. This is a great gift for kids and adults who have the Wii. It would be a good Christmas Gift or even a birthday gift! The price is also amazing too! Thanks for making Zoe's day! :)

I purchased the remote because we needed another remote. We have had it for 2 days and it gone through 8 batteries and now it is not connecting to the nun chuck. I am very disappointed in this product and it will be going back to the store. I would rather spend the money on a actual Wii remote that I know will work. The original one that came with the system 3 years ago still works perfectly. I would sugest not buying the this AW1 remote

My 7 year old loves this light up remote! We have had it for 2 + years and it still works great! Very happy with this product. Not as much luck with the matching nunchuck from afterglow... have 2 of them that dont work. The wii remote is GREAT tho - I would recommend it to anyone! It is the "favorite" wii remote at our house - the kids have to take turns with it!
