I have had mineral foundation applied to me in the past and HATED it--every brand. I have fair, sensitive skin and don't usually wear any make up at all. This, however, is super! I tried it on a pricey-seeming whim, because I wanted some extra sun protection and I'd like to look a little more put together. It goes on like a dream, is organic anddoesn't make me itch. And I look like me only better--my boyfriend, who can detect even tinted moisturizer from a block away, just thinks I look nice. Do check the company website for great details on the shades, and err on the side of choosing lighter. I'm not white-white but pretty light, and I still went one shade too dark. Even a bit too dark it's great. But I was so impressed with the product that I went ahead and ordered a second batch in the lighter shade. That's love! I'm looking forward to a long-term relationship with Afterglow!

I have tried about 6 brands of mineral foundation powders, including Bare Escensuals, Amazing (which got great reviews, but did not give enough coverage for my liking), and several other expensive brands. Afterglow is HANDS DOWN the winner. It has no irritation (which several brands had -- itching), and went on flawlessly, providing the perfect amount of coverage. Worth the price, and i want to support smaller companies.

i am extremely pale & proud of it :) i found my perfect foundation match in "cameo". this foundation is luxurious. the coverage is amazing, it smooths my complexion & is super light weight. plus, there are natural, minimal ingredients so i don't have to worry about my sensitive skin getting mad at me. i am completely thrilled with this foundation.

I have sensitive acne porn skin and this is the only make-up that doesn't irritate my skin or break it out. I tried bare minerals and other mineral make-ups but they made my face itch from the bismuth oxide. I tried other powders and foundations including origins and clinique but those still irritated my skin.

Not to mention this is the only foundation that's ever matched my skin tone since I'm pale but with yellow undertones. The people that work at afterglow are great! I told them what my shade was in other products and they used that information to find my shade which is bisque. It blends perfectly with my skin without looking caked on! I love how it feels on my skin, and it covers my acne scars and redness nicely (as well with their calm cover).

I highly recommend this make-up to anyone, especially to those that want to use a more natural make-up on their skin. Their aloe concealer is great too!

I don't like to seem like I'm over exaggerating but this product is unbelievable. I am a big believer in natural and organic products. Bare Minerals was not cutting it. I still broke out and felt like I had a lot caked. I love the porcelein finish look, and I definitely had it with Afterglow cosmetics (referred by my aesthetican, thank God!). Ever since I've used this product, never had a serious break out, calms and soothes irritated skin, keeps my pH skin balanced, great coverage and does not look like I'm caking on makeup. It's PERFECT. I have been using this well over a year, and I swear on this and it's my best kept secret (up until now). I get a lot of compliments on my skin. People think I have expensive facials done (I also have a good skincare regime (Neutrogena face wash scrub with salicylic acid).

Mineral foundation is so much better than liquid foundation- there's no worry about a makeup line on your jaw or neck! And Afterglow cosmetics foundation is even better because it's organic! I was going to try some of the drugstore and department store brands of mineral foundation, but I couldn't pronounce half of the ingredients. Afterglow foundation has a short ingredient list, that's pronouncable and organic. Perfect.

This is my first review so I guess in part this should really mean I LOVED this product-which I did.
I have shed tears over tears, over the look-out for something that doesn't break me out. This proved to be amazing, the prize was an "eh" but it did make me feel more comfortable in what looked to be my "natural beauty". This is a recommended must for people that wanted to find something like it but have had bad breakouts with other products!

I really like this line of makeup. I had help choosing the correct shade and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I like the packaging and the fact that this line is gentle on my skin and doesn't contain a lot of chemicals and things I want to avoid. I had tried Bare Escentuals and didn't care for it. I'm very happy with this product and will continue to use it.

My skin is very sensitive and I've tried just about every top selling mineral powder out there, but most of them have Bismuth which makes my skin react in a not so nice way. Then I found Afterglow and it went on easy and didn't burn. That was very nice! I use "Shell" and it's close to my skin color, but I think I may have to combine two colors, to get my exact skin color, because I have a pink tone to my skin. During the winter, I have a hard time wearing this, because we have no humidity during the winter and my skin does not do well with just powder. That being said, if I could find a better moisturizer that didn't make me break out, I would still use it then. I absolutely love the way it feels on my skin. I hope they continue to make more products, because there is definitely a market for Organic Make-up!

I have tried every mineral foundation availableOrganic Mineral Foundation from Bare Escentials to every brand available at cosmetic counters. Most of them made me look older by settling into wrinkles or lines. This product is the absolute exception. I am very fair with sensitive skin and I took a previous clients advise and ordered Cameo and it was perfect. Most people cannot tell I have foundation on, yet it provides excellent coverage. It does not itch or dry my skin. I loved it so much I went back to buy more for my sister, who has had similar problems with mineral foundation. It is pricey, but sometimes its worth it.
