This review is from: The Aftermath (Paperback)
Monica is back to finish what she started with James and Jasmine Cinque. The 3 of them had a threesome and she continued to sleep with both of them. After she falls in love with Jazz, Monica plots to steal her from James.
This book picks up were the other left off, and Jazz catches James, Monica and Sheila in action on her kitchen table. Of course she leaves James. Soon Monica finds out she is preganant and so does Jazz. Is James the father of both ladies babies? As Jazz and James try to piece their relationship back togther Monica is hating from the sidelines. A lot about Monica's past is revealed and you can see why she is into women b/c of abuse she suffered from her perverted uncle. Monica has a lot of enemies so she better beware, some of them are plotting a sweet revenge on her. I gave this book 4 stars b/c I didn't like the ending I was expecting a big bang a real shock, and it just kind of fizzled out, still a good read but read "My Woman His Wife" first.

Anna J does it again!!!!!!,
This review is from: The Aftermath (Paperback)
This a sequel that I have been eagerly awaiting and Anna J does not disappoint..The Aftermath brings us back into the world of Jasmin & James Cinque and Monica the woman who has caused much havoc in their marriage. After the three engage in a threesome..Monica is determined to break up this marriage and is up to her same acts of betrayal and deception. Anna J takes us on twists and turns and all is revealed why Monica is the way she is, I literally could not put this book down!! Definitely don't sleep on this one, this is one sequel that is too hot to pass up.

Worth The Wait,

I got mixed feelings about ordering this book from reading the reviews, but I'm glad to say that Anna J did NOT disappoint me in the lease. This book moved forward with the lives of the Cinque's and Monica and I was glad to see that this author continued the story as apposed to taking the route that SO MANY other authors take by spending half the second book re-writing the first book. This book was still filled with tons of drama, and the absence of sex did not take away from it at all. I totally understood it because at that point in the Cinque's lives a threesome with Monica is not what they were looking for. This book made me laugh and I got a little emoitonal at times, and all I can say is I hope it's a part three comng soon.
Anna J, keep putting that pen to them pages baby girl. I can't wait for your next book to drop.

Too Damn Hot!!!!,
By Readers Voice (Atlantic City, NJ) - See all my reviews
This review is from: The Aftermath (Paperback)
I initially wasn't going to write a review, but after reading the hate I felt compelled to do so...
I read My Woman His Wife in four hours. From the first word to the very last this book was so on point. Jasmine, James, and Monica was a recipe for disaster that was so well written and unexpected that I went and purchased copies of the book for three of my friends. This book had so many twist and turns that I couldn't wait to get to the next page to see what was going to happen next. For this to be Anna J's first book I think she did a wonderful job. Considering all of the nonsense that are on the shelves now does My Woman His Wife is a breath of fresh air and money well spent. I saw that I was able to order the sequel, "The Aftermath" in advance and not only did I order one for myself, I got copies for my friends as well. Anna J., I'm not sure if you even read these reviews, but keep ya head up and don't let haters that wouldn't know a good book if it popped them in the head take you off your square. Your book is the bomb and I can't wait for the next one!!!

Not As Good As the First,
This review is from: The Aftermath (Paperback)
I liked this sequel alot. However, I don't think it was better than the first one, My Woman, His Wife. In this sequel, you get to know more about Monica's background and why she turned out to be so evil. That part is really what kept me reading. With both Jasmine and Monica being pregnant, I felt that it was a little too predictable. To make things even more confusing, Jasmine's not sure who the father is (at first), and amidst all this drama feels herself still being sucked in by Monica. Once they've slept together AGAIN (even though her husband got Monica pregnant), Jasmine just seems like an idiot. I also hate how EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this book is head over heels for Monica. Too unrealistic for me. I don't want to spoil the ending, but I'm surprised and disappointed at how everything worked out for the best. Three stars is all I can give.

Must Read It,

This review is from: The Aftermath (Paperback)
If you've read "My Woman His Wife", you have to read the "Aftermath" because it's a continuation. I thought the book was really good. It is what it is, a sequel. So I don't know why the bad reviews. It was just as good as the first one to me, except for all the additional characters, but it explained a lot about the first book, so I say if you haven't read the first one, read it first, then read this. You'll enjoy it, don't listen to all the negative crap, they don't know what they talking about.

I am so glad I read part 1 a while back, becaue that was was off the chain. The Aftermath was just a good, although I wish some more storylines were more developed, like James love for threesomes after his wife left and who fathered the twins? But all in all this book was great.

Just as good as the first one,
By
This review is from: The Aftermath (Paperback)
I thought "My Woman His Wife" was great, but this one is just as great. Aftermath takes us a little deeper into the lives and backgrounds of the characters without losing the sensuality from the first one. I recommended the first book to my friend, who mentioned it to another, and so forth. We all are hooked on these books now, and can't wait for the next one. If you haven't read the first one, please go get it, and then check out Aftermath. You won't be sorry!!
