The only reason to order this album is 'Afternoon Delight.' The other selections on this disc are on many, many compilations. Each one more tired than the next. I suggest diving head in with Starland's greatest album. 20 songs and you are bound to like one more than they're big hit.

This is the same song set as the 1999 Mellow Rock Classics [#1] set from Double Gold and probably others.
Its a very strong set of tunes it any case. Mostly late '60 to mid '70 AM radio stuff with psychedelic pop which help start the bubblegum pop era. I'll assume allot of amazon customers weren't around when these tunes were on the charts.
An excellent place to get some music that were hitting the charts and your parents were listening and dancing too.
Don't forget the past...I still remember the first time and place I heard The Hollies, Long Cool Woman(In a Black Dress) or Nilsson's Coconut diddy. The movies have also use allot of these tunes through the years, so maybe they won't be to hard to know or remember for the under 30 set.
