Just the recipes I wanted!
I saw James and Andrew teach at Sur la Table last fall and I thought their recipes were delicious! I remain particularly smitten by the old-fashioned brownies (with frosting!) and the gingersnaps. There are several other typical cafe recipes in here--biscotti, some tasty scones, more cookies. There aren't a ton of recipes, but every one of them is for something you...

Afternoon Delights James McNair
Recipes can be found in so many books. Nothing out of the ordinary. I was a bit disappointed for a James McNair book.

There aren't a ton of recipes, but every one of them is for something you already know you love--no weirdos. The book is beautiful and the recipes work--what more could you ask for? Maybe someone to make the coffee.

I love the recipes in this book. This is my second purchase of the book. I gave my first copy to my sister. I was moving to another state and wanted to trim moving expenses. Eventually I decided to buy another copy. The recipes are easy and delicious. The pages are filled with information. It's an excellent choice to add to a cookbook collection, or to give as a gift.
