5.0 out of 5 stars A great dou
Silly Wizard frontman Andy Stewart paired with Gaelic singer Manus Lunny. Try listening to At It Again and Tae The Weaver's Gin Ye Go. This is a great CD with a bit more 'fun' than some of the darker he-sailed-off-and-died stuff (that I love) that you find on a lot of SW CDs. Don't worry there are some great she-left-me tunes on here for those who know it's not a real...

3.0 out of 5 stars Celtic Fans Should Stop Here
Vocalist Andy M. Stewart and guitar playing sidekick Manus Lunny deliver a mix of often humerous contemporary Celtic ditties, along with more tradtional fare. The title cut opens the disc with the story of the ne'er do well cousin we'd all like to disown if he wasn't buying. 'At it again' features a particularly stirring cover of Robert Burns Tae the Weaver Gin Ye...

4.0 out of 5 stars At it again and again and again, May 25, 2004

I really love this album and just keep playing it and playing it. The cut "Haughs of Cromdale" is worth the price alone wiht its incredible right-in-the-battle feeling. Also loved the the humorous title track and the poignant "Monday Morning". OK their is a piece or two that drags just a bit, but I would purchase this album again and again.

5.0 out of 5 stars listen just once, i dare you., December 12, 2005

I heard the song "Monday Morning" on a scottish/irish radio show once, years ago... it was just such a great song, and i had no idea who it was by or where i could find it. i searched and searched online for the lyrics, and eventually came up with the artist, Andy Stewart. i couldn't find any albums in record stores, and i couldn't find the songs to download. it was driving me crazy. finally i found the album for sale online and i bought it immediately. it's been one of my favorites ever since. every track on that album is a treasure; especially the title track, "Bridgit O'Malley", "My Heart it Belongs to She", "Tae the Weaver's Gin Ye Go", and of course the song i mentioned before, "Monday Morning". is that more than half the album already? lol.

really though, if you've any interest in this sort of music you've GOT to listen to it (and if you don't, listen to it anyway- it could start you off!). it's a beautiful album.

The title cut opens the disc with the story of the ne'er do well cousin we'd all like to disown if he wasn't buying. 'At it again' features a particularly stirring cover of Robert Burns Tae the Weaver Gin Ye Go, which Stewart recorded on the Songs of Robert Burns CD. Stewart and Lunny provide modern, accessible and yet authentic music - a Celtic for the 90's - and At it Again is a good place for the unfamiliar to get to know them better
