Amazon.com Review
Toronto actress Marcia Robertson seems to have it all. Her career is taking off and she has a solid relationship with her boyfriend, Jackson Reid. The relationship is so solid, in fact, that when Marcia's old fiancé, Gavin Williams, arrives back in town, she has no interest in seeing him. That is until Marcia suspects that Jackson is having an affair. When her suspicions are proved true, she seeks the comfort of her old friend Gavin. Their renewed friendship quickly leads to something more, and it appears the two may find happiness together at last. However, an old secret threatens any likelihood Marcia and Gavin have of a life together. It becomes clear that Marcia must share her secret with Gavin to give their love a chance. This is an absolutely outstanding first novel. If
Again, My Love is any indication of her talent, Kayla Perrin has a bright future ahead of her. This is truly an exceptional story.

Review
Marcia Robertson is an actress who lives with her boyfriend of two years, Jackson Reid. Jackson is in a hit television show but lately it seems as though success has gone to his head. While at a party, Marcia spies Jackson with a blonde and she's observed him drinking more than usual. She is hurt when he refuses to leave with her so she returns to their condo alone. Marcia is shocked as she reads a letter from her former fiancée, Gavin Williams whom she broke up with when he gave her the choice between her career and marrying him. He had been her soul mate, the love of her life, and four years ago she had been doubly excited about her good news. First she had told him about landing a job in Vancouver, but then when he gave her that ultimatum she couldn't tell him the rest of her news. Gavin went to Japan to teach and Marcia experienced two horrible ordeals alone. Gavin realizes how unfair he had been back then and now he wants her back. He has changed and he wants to prove it to her, but he won't force her or rush her to make any decisions. He helps her with her breakup with Jackson but later, in an unusual way, Gavin learns about part of her past. He is shocked and hurt, but how will he handle the rest of her secret? Can they accept and forgive each other's mistakes? This is a fast and easy read that looks at the contemporary issues of relationships, career and family. Again, My Love is definitely a woman's book. I think it has a very slight negative attitude towards men in general but what woman at some point in her life doesn't feel that way? It's real, it's honest and it doesn't sugar coat - it delves into love, hurt, rejection and forgiveness. Well written! Kayla Perrin has her finger on the pulse of male/female relationships and she does an excellent job of examining it in Again, My Love! Talented and gifted fall short of describing Kayla Perrin's talents! An excellent romance! Gloria Miller --
