To place yourself on a platform so that others may be advanced by your "setbacks" is what Mo did in this book. His transparency is remarkable, his courage is admirable and his story is inspirational!! I had always heard the cliche that against all odds you can be successful, but what the book is taught me is that without the proper self examination and deliberate, purposeful living, the odds are that you won't reach the goals that you've set for yourself and live the life you want. What I'm seeing is that, I DETERMINE THE ODDS; whether they are favorable or not. Thanks, Mo Stegall, for being a vessel willing to share a message that so many need to hear. This is a definite MUST READ!! You owe it to yourself, and you'll be glad you did.

Mo's honesty, transparency, and candidness are really what will capture you from the moment you open this book. The challenges and obstacles that he has had to overcome will cause the reader to do some personal reflection, and begin to realize that the only thing that can stop us from reaching our goals is ourselves. Mo lets the reader know that his circumstances did not define who he was and a sheer will and determination will help you reach whatever goal you seek to obtain. If you do not want to change your life and be the best person you can be, then this book is not for you. For the people who are truly wanting to "Revolutionize their destiny" this is a must have!! Take the Key Points and absorb them into your mind!

"The Poetic Language" is definitely an added bonus!!

...don't mistake it for just another feel-good fluff book that leaves you feeling warm and fuzzy. Against All Odds I Can Be will surely inspire you, but more importantly it will challenge you, correct you, and at times call you on the carpet.

It's solid. It's raw. It's unselfishly candid. Mo Stegall disrobes the pain of his past and exposes it for all to see. As you witness Mo's own tragedies and struggles and how he relentlessly overcomes them, you can't help but be encouraged to overcome your own life's challenges and vigilantly forge ahead toward your own destiny.

My absolute favorite quote comes from Chapter 18: Completing The Marathon:

"...you must tenaciously endure in spite of opposition because the journey you are embarking upon isn't fair, doesn't care about your bills, won't be favorable, and will not make the elements and conditions suitable for you to succeed."

Awesome! During this particularly tumultuous time in my life, these words inspire me and serve as a call to action -keep forging ahead! These nuggets of wisdom and inspiration are sprinkled throughout the book from start to finish. Steps 6-10 hit so close to home for me that I'm reading the section again.

The author makes mention of the different twist and turns life may have even his own personal experiences but also advises how to maintain a positive outlook on your own personal circumstances and rise to the top. This book is great for people in corporate America as well so that you may focus on your strategy or re- strategizing to receive results. Last but not least I highly recommend this book to any individual that may not know or question who they are. I believe Against all Odds will help you to jumpstart, discover, and rediscover who you are as well as the purpose God has for your life. Go and get it today, your life depends on it!!!

Mo Stegall has taken his personal experiences and struggles and turned them into a truly inspirational read. Each chapter empowers the reader. By the end of the book I knew I could conquer the world!

A lot of us know we have a purpose but don't know how to get there. Mo Stegall's book gives us a down to earth blueprint on how to find our purpose in life and act on it.
