This is the story of Chuck Norris. I really enjoyed it and wish everyone would read it. Many know that Chuck was a 6 time undefeated professional world champion of Karate. Many have seem the movies he has made. Most people have seen his TV series, "Walker, Texas Ranger." But other than that we know little of who he really is. Chuck Norris is one of the more down to earth Hollywood types who has had his share of ups and downs.

His story chronicles his life and shows how he dealt with the things that have faced him and his family. Like all of us, he has failed at times. Like all of us, he wishes that he had done somethings differently.

Chucks faith in Christ is evident throughout the book. Yet he doesn't hammer us with it. Many of the projects that were started through Chuck's desire to help people are a direct result of his faith in Christ.

"Against All Odds: My Story," by Chuck Norris is a very engaging book that you will enjoy and find hard to put it down.

My son requested this book (bonus enough he ASKED for a BOOK!) :) for Christmas, & he was ecstatic to get it! He's really enjoyed reading it & says to please tell you it is an honor to read about a real life American hero in his own words, & is (he told me to capitalize this) CHUCK NORRIS APPROVED! WE LOVE CHUCK!!!

This book is very inspirational, easy to read, full of Chuck Norris pictures through his career. a very interesting story. I'll recommended.

Excellent book. I hate when people review the book and give all the details. I will only say that this book show that he is a great man. I have always been a huge fan of Chuck Norris. I never knew a lot of the story of his life. He is such a great American man. Great book for children to read and learn by his life!

Against All Odds: My Story is one of those books which have something to offer on many different levels, really helping people as both inspiration and as a guide. It doesn't preach or lecture the reader, rather it tells of one man's success in life from a very modest prospective. Chuck Norris has become something of myth for many people, for more just another TV actor. But the real story, told in his own words is of a young man starting from poverty and hard times, doing his time in the military, knowing God and improving himself. Working hard and making a success of himself is basically what this book is about.

You don't have to be a martial arts fan or an admirer of Chuck Norris to really enjoy this book. A great story.

I bought this book for my wife for Christmas. She is a fan of Chuck. She finished the book in a matter of days and gave it to me to read. I'm glad I did. Learned tons of things I never knew about him. I would recommend this book even if you are not a big fan because it tells a good rags to riches story.

I gave this book to my adult son when he achieved his black belt in karate. He found it very inspiring and hard to put down! He has suggested that I read it which I will.

I got this book as a Christmas gift for my husband, not something he asked for, and it was a major hit! He is a martial artist and has always liked Chuck Norris, so I took a chance. He loved it - had it read within a couple days and said it was the best gift he got that year!

This book is incredible. I learned a lot more about Chuck Norris, besides the superhuman jokes. I learned that he lived in poverty! He taught Bob Barker, a Presely, Steve McQueen, and knows the presidents. It is a great book for only $10. It is very interesting and amazing what he did. Definitely buy this!
