emotional, amazing.
acoustic... simple... perfect.

Do yourself a favor and listen to these guys.

This is one of my favorite cds by my favorite band. No other band can pull off an acoustic cd like this one. I actually got this cd before Reiventing Axl Rose and I fell in love with these songs and then when I heard the other versions I was taken away. Just go out and get this cd...along with all their other ones too!

... you people do not know what you are missing... AGAINST ME! is the best band to come into existence since... well, comparisons fail me at this point. if you have REINVENTING AXL ROSE(if you don't you should), then you know how heartfelt and expressive james bowman's lyrics can be and you are aware of this bands ability to manipulate emotions with the sound they've created. now imagine that acoustic! holy [cow]! soooo good! seriously, PINTS OF GUINESS... makes me cry. there is nothing bad i can say about this album except that the vinyl EP does not include the SECRET TRACK that the cd does. nonetheless, if you have the chance to own, burn, or record the vinyl version of this album, do it! both versions are worth owning. i don't care what anyone says, vinyl sounds like heaven, especially AGAINST ME! vinyl... so regardless of their recent signing to a...pop-punk corporation (who shall remain nameless for the sake of this review), i highly reccomend this album. please buy it and support one of the most beautiful bands of all time, and if you ever, ever have the chance to see these guys live, do it, you shall not regret it. peace, love. when i first felt the need for some against me!, i downloaded all the songs off of Reinventing Axl Rose. without knowing there were different versions, it turned out i downloaded all these ones (acoustic tracks) in place of the electic versions for these songs. well bassically Reinventing Axl Rose is one of my favorite albums of all, and due almost completely to the acoustic versions i stumbled upon. those tracks are simply fantastic. they're filled with raw pasion and energy, and without them, my musical tastes would have gone starved for something truely honest and fun.

hahahahah...patricia, that's awesome! to each his own. to AM! fans who wanna mellow out, this album is very nice.

you need to get this beautiful cd, get the lyrics down, and then go sing your passionate heart out at a show. in today's world, few bands have such rockin music and thoughtful lyrics too. i am partial to bands with radical politics, but with this band, it's not just their politics that make them so great, but their energy and love of playing.

This is how music should sound, plain and simple. This ep will blow any punk diy anarcho fan away. This is one of the most original bands to have come out in a long time. In a era of jock rock bad music its nice to see a band get back to basics. BUY THIS EP

I got this cd because the reviews looked great and i wanted a nice acoustic cd to just mellow out to. When i got the cd, i was shocked! The actual music is fine, however the singer is terrible. His voice is extremely raspy, and i cant stand to listen to him. I just thought i'd put my two sense in. I dont know if there this band's regular music is good, but ill say pass on their acoustic stuff.
