Excellent book
This book is the first one I bought about this wonderful artist. Is a very good source of information about his life and work, and the printing is good and colorful.

Poor Art Reproduction Quality in the Kindle Edition
The print edition of this book is very expensive, and so the Kindle edition offers a low cost way to get the text. However, the accompanying artwork, which is very well reproduced in the print edition, is very poor in the Kindle edition. All of the paintings are reproduced in black and white (probably because the Kindle at this point doesn't handle color), and all the the...

The print edition of this book is very expensive, and so the Kindle edition offers a low cost way to get the text. However, the accompanying artwork, which is very well reproduced in the print edition, is very poor in the Kindle edition. All of the paintings are reproduced in black and white (probably because the Kindle at this point doesn't handle color), and all the the artwork has been reproduced with so much contrast that for all practical purposes, it's useless.If you want to read the text, get this edition. If viewing the artwork is important to you, pass on this edition and wait for a bargain on the print. |
